Central Wisconsin, Stevens Point, and Plover Yang Style T'ai Chi practitioners unite. Let's play some T'ai Chi Ch'uan. We practice Yang Style, Large Frame traditional T'ai Chi (Tai Chi, Taiji, Taijiquan, pick your spelling ;-) but everyone is welcome. At the moment, this blog is for record keeping, comments, observations, scheduling, etc. Other things may be posted depending on interest and demand.
Four perambulated their way through a 23 minute set while listening to the called set from the Yang Family website.
ReplyDeleteSeveral positions (most notably Fist Under Elbow and Turn and Sweep Lotus) were allowed more time than was expected, and a couple (especially Wave Hands Like Clouds) were faster. This seems to be a resounding "no" to a question I had once had as to whether the breathing in each position should be as steady as a metronome or not.
After the set there were no questions.
